Committee Goal: Research and collect materials relating to the All-America
Football Conference. These materials will be organized and available for
researchers as they become available.

All-Pros and Awards Committee
All-Pros Committee Goal: Generate a complete listing of All-Pro teams from all sources.
Awards Committee: Generate a complete list of all AP and UPI awards and the voting for each of them.

Central and Northern New York Committee
Committee Goal: Research and document all amateur, semi-professional and professional teams that played in the Central and Northern New York area. The committee would like to publish an encyclopedia when the research has been completed.

Empire Football League Committee
Committee Goal: Research and document the history of the semi-professional Empire Football League.
Committee Chair: Dave Burch
Football, Culture and Social Movements Committee
Committee Goal: Research and publish articles and books exploring the relationship between football and broader social movements that it influences and is influenced by, such as civil rights, the labor movement, environmentalism, etc. To make the topics more manageable, we are grouping them by related movement and time period. The current focus is integration in the 1940s. Information regarding external influencers on a team's decision to integrate is especially appreciated, as is details of how that decision was made. If anyone is interested in exploring related topics, please contact the committee and we can coordinate research. A committee blog is also under development.

Gamebooks Committee
Committee Goal:
The goal of the PFRA Gamebooks committee is to collect
gamebooks and play-by-play accounts for all of the games in NFL history. These
can be a valuable tool for researchers, but acquiring them can be an arduous
task. The goal is to share the collective efforts of a number of researchers and
pool the results in one location, hopefully to foster future research.

Committee Goal: Solicit and sort through nominees, prepare all HOVG-related materials for Coffin Corner and prepare write-ups on the nominees.

Committee Goal: Generate linscores for all games played since 1920.

Committee Goal: To compile a list of all NFL officials, their positions and

Oral History Committee
Committee Goal: To record and archive interviews with players in the AAFC,
AFL and NFL. These archives are to aid future researchers in their work.

Committee Goal: Document information on all NFL Competitors, other than ones
currently covered with existing committees.

Pre-NFL Pro Football Committee
Committee Goal: Research all semi-professional and professional games played prior to 1920. This would include line scores, game summaries and rosters.

Stadiums Committee
Committee Goal: Document and publish information on all stadiums used by professional football teams. The Stadium Committee has started and is concentrating on the stadiums in use since 1946. This would include all AAFC, NFL and AFL teams. For each stadium, the committee would like to gather the following: (A) An aerial view; (B) An exterior view (a view taken of the stadium at street level); (C) An interior view (a view taken from the stands); (D) An action view (a view of a game being played in the stadium, which shows both players and some portion of the stadium from the field level). Along with this information, factual data on each stadium will be compiled. This data would include construction dates, dates of use, anecdotal history, etc. The committee would also like to work on stadiums from other eras (pre-1946), but they will start with post-1946 stadiums. The goal of the committee is to compile a book to be published.

Committee Goal: Document the play-by-play announcers, analysts and field reporters for every single broadcast of NFL and AFL games (regular season and post season) from 1939 to the present.
