Re: Modern Candidates HOF Preliminary List

Each player only has to be nominated once to have a chance, right? If so, how do I make sure I don't waste nominations on players that someone else already nominated? Just put in my email "if someone else nominated any of these players, give me back those selections"?

Re: Lance Rentzel

Receiver logjam from this era is massive. Hard pass from me on Rentzel. Agree with others who've been mentioned here as being ahead of him. There are plenty more. Gary Garrison, Ken Burrough, Jimmy Orr, Sonny Randle... list goes on.

Re: 2023 - 24 season first round playoff schedule

No need to start. Conspiracy theorists cling to their theories no matter how absurd they are (see: flat earthers and moon landing deniers) and sensible people know that stuff is all nonsense. Brian is also not some guy who just showed up here and started claiming nonsense, and I think we should wit...

Re: 2023 - 24 season first round playoff schedule

It's Joever for Flacco... 2 pick sixes.

Use NFLbite for the KC-Miami game.

Re: WRs who could/should have won MVP

I think Purdy will be first team All-Pro, JS with Jackson winning MVP. What are your feelings on Jameis Winston disregarding his coach and getting another TD? Just something that will blow over, Winston getting disiplined or Allen feeling like he has lost his team? He was hot today and felt Smith w...

Re: 104th season, final regular season weekend recap

JS ... If the Bucs look flat and lose to Philly, do you think Bowles could get fired? I think the job could be appealing to Vrabel I'd love Vrabel. Think he's much better than Toad Bowels, who should be demoted back to DC. I wouldn't want to see Canales go though, he did wonders with Baker this year.

Re: 104th season, final regular season weekend recap

I'm pulling for obviously my Bucs on the NFC side, and Cleveland in the AFC for the Flacco story. I think we can beat an extraordinarily flat Philly, and honestly can't wait to play them. After that is going to be a monumental struggle though, facing someone like Detroit or Dallas in the div round. ...

Re: 104th season, final regular season weekend recap

This was an awful NFL season. Nothing interesting ever seemed to happen, and when it did, it didn't last. Joe Flacco finally becoming ELITE , and that being basically the story of the year, perfectly encapsulates what the season was as a whole: a meme. Not expecting much better from the playoffs, bu...

Re: WRs who could/should have won MVP

You're not wrong :D Elway getting the award over Montana/Rice was nutty. I think that's the only time we had a QB win MVP, but not get 1st-Team All-Pro lmao. It's about to happen again. I think Dak gets 1st team and Purdy 2nd team. This has to be the worst NFL regular season I've personally watched.

Re: Worst MVP race EVER

1982 had obvious right choices in Dan Fouts or Wes Chandler. Strike years seem to befuddle MVP voters, happened in 87 also.

Personally, I think this was the worst NFL regular season I've ever watched. I can't imagine the playoffs could possibly be worse than 2018's.
