They had painted end zones in the 1971 Championship game vs San Francisco. 1973 was the first year the team had painted end zones during the regular season. 1974 was the first year we saw the star at midfield.

I know we've discussed this before, but I couldn't track down the discussion; I think it might have been lost when we changed servers - Danny White was the Cowboys full time QB and Punter in 1984 . Was he the last player to play a full-time position (besides Kicker) and also be a full-time Punter? ...

I don't see them intentionally tanking for Tua or Herbert. Lawrence, yes, but not those two guys. They had enough talent to make the divisional round last year and Brissett is serviceable, so I doubt that a massive reversal is on the horizon.
