I deplore and detest all of those......the “culture” word, in football circles, really causes me to blow a gasket.

The problem in the HOF selections is not the modern-day finalists...the problem is strictly confined to the Veterans or Senior Committee. Those selectors need to have their heads examined. Personally, I think he belongs in Canton.
I concur about his incessant bitching about not making the HOF was irritating, but his accolades speak highly, IMO.
I don't understand why Carson is in and not Gradishar, though.

On the 30 For 30 on the 1985 Bears, did you guys hear Ditka say the backers were not good in pass coverage, so they went to the 46 Defense to get more pressure, protecting blitz schemes, etc.?
