Bengals exec vp Katie Blackburn was appointed to the NFL Competition Committee, the first woman member of the influential committee. She is also the first 3rd-generation member of the committee, after her grandfather (Paul Brown) and her father (Mike Brown)

Also of note, there are now 4 former players on the Committee, the highest ever.
