Former 49ers & Falcons RB Dwight Lee died December 29, aged 71.

One that was missed in 2016:-

Former Bears & Colts HB Harry Hugasian died September 3rd 2016, aged 87.

Former referee and field judge Fred Swearingen, an NFL official from 1960-1980, died December 16. He was 95 years old.

Swearingen wore uniform number 21 and was (in)famous for two playoff games: the Immaculate Reception game and Súper Bowl XIII, where he was the official who called the controversial pass interference on Lynn Swann.

Former Rams, Falcons & Bills C Frank Marchlewski died October 27th 2016, aged 73.
