Holmes seems like one of the most obvious HOVG players of the 21st century. He's not really getting considered for Canton, but his career is impossible to ignore.

He should be a pretty good candidate. Also, guys like Corey Dillon and Eddie George come to mind, who aren't in Canton but were very good.

With 96 career TDs counting postseason, Holmes has a HOF case as a complete back with a SB ring but his career was similar to Terrell Davis, in that after three sensational years, injuries took their toll ...

The inevitable has happened: Bell has ended up in Tompa. On the one hand, if there's anyone who can save this guy's career, it's Brady. On the other, if Brady can save this guy's career, there's no one he can't save.

I think it depends on Bell's role with the offense. If he is the featured back and receives most of the work, it will tell what he has left.
