I saw the play live on TV, age 10. I'll never forget it. Earl Morrall dropped back, threw the ball downfield right to Gibbons who ran for a TD. It looked easy.

My favorite 'before I was born' game to watch.

Not just the ending either but the entire game, had it all.

It came after the Colts had apparently won the game with 14(?) seconds left on a TD pass.
...from Johnny U to Lenny Moore who made one of the greatest catches in the history of football.

Ken Meyer, former 49ers Head Coach and Assistant Coach with the Jets, Rams & Bears, died August 14 aged 91.
