Just a guess but

Post by JohnTurney »

Gil Brandt
Pat Bowlen
Johnny Robinson
Ed Reed
Tony Gonzalez
Ty Law
Kevin Mawae
Tony Boselli

My preference would but Hutch or Faneca over Mawae (not highly graded by PSI) but not that many voters go by that

Hutch is the guy who grades the highest. Faneca and Mawae lower, with Faneca ahead of Mawae

The Champ Bailey/Ty Law slot will be interesting. Law has good momentum, but if the Bailey voters get cheesed off, they could 86 Law in the final 5.

Boselli, does still get dinged for short career, but just guessing they will put one interior lineman and one tackle.

Will be interesting

My guess is slightly different:

Gil Brandt
Pat Bowlen
Johnny Robinson
Ed Reed
Tony Gonzalez
Champ Bailey
Steve Hutchinson
Alan Faneca

Not that I would vote that way, but that is how I think it will go.

Still funny a selector evidently used how good the pixel version of Terrell Owens was in "Madden" (video game) as a serious argument for why he should be in the PFHOF.

If Champ Bailey or Ty Law had a game sealing pick in "Madden" for one of the voters back in the day that could tip the scales for what CB goes in.

That's how I also think...although I'm a lifelong Cowboys fan, I don't like that Brandt is one step of the PHOF...his "innovations" (IMHO) came to be a fluke when all the teams figure how, and his 10 years drafting before 1988, the final season with Tom Landry and Tex Schramm, were atrocious.

My guess is the same as John’s, but substitute Bailey for Law.

I am a big fan of all four offensive linemen, and if Gonzalez and Reed were not in their first try, would love to see all four enshrined at the same time (It will never happen). Anyway, if I had to chose two I would pick Faneca and Hutchinson (I think both of them should've been enshrined already), and Mawae and Boselli for the next year.

Champ Bailey beats out Boselli....I just didn't think they'd put 4 DBs in.

So, I got 7 of 8.
