Anybody ever ever read "In search of a hero: The Life and Times of Tony Canadeo, Green Bay Packers Grey Ghost" by David Zimmerman. Was it any good? I can't find any comments or reviews of it on the internet.

Only review I could find was from the Wisconsin State Journal, August 26, 2001.

Thanks for digging this up. Doesn't sound like that great of a review.

I read it. I didn't care for it. Not a lot of depth.

There were two problems---Canadeo wasn't the kind of guy to talk about himself or anybody else, and he and Zimmerman were friends. That combo pretty much guarantees an unexciting bio filled with newspaper game accounts.
