I'm going to guess that the answer to #5 is 1996: Terrell Owens, Marvin Harrison, Eric Moulds, Keyshawn Johnson, Terry Glenn, Eddie Kennison, Amani Toomer, Bobby Engram.
And #14's answer is 2011: J.J. Watt, Von Miller, Cam Heryward, Cam Jordan, Justin Houston, Ryan Kerrigan, Robert Quinn.

Re: Elam Ending in the NFL
Much like basketball, the end of a football game is very often the worst football played in the game. It's arguably even worse . No one goes to a game to watch teams run out the clock and, worst of all, kneel. So let's make every game end in a score; say, set the winning score at 10 points above wh...

Re: Sabbatical concept in NFL
Red Grange retired in 1928, after suffering a severe knee injury with the New York Yankees in 1927. The knee injury affected his ability to cut, and he lost considerable speed. George Halas offered him a contract for 1929, and Grange accepted. He proved to be a superb defensive back, and an above av...

Re: Super Bowl LIX Thread
As I mentioned on this thread during the SB broadcast, Barkley had a chance to stick it to Vegas on the prop bets by scoring the first TD of the game but with him not getting the ball, or scoring a TD the rest of the game for that matter ... Vegas cleaned up on same-game prop parlay bets and others...

Re: Do the Chiefs deserve to be considered a dynasty
Three titles in 5 years in this era? Seems dynastic to me. I guess the question is were the Dallas Cowboys a dynasty in early 1990s or not. My lifetime --- Packers - 60s, Steelers 70s, 49ers 80s, Patriots - Brady/BB - kind of this century's dynasty, though Brady era anyway. If Cowboys were then Chi...

Re: Unofficial players with at least 17.5 sacks in consecutive seasons?
I'm looking at an interesting stat of players in NFL history with at least 17.5 sacks in back to back seasons...it lists: Gastineau Reggie White JJ Watt Trey Hendrickson (!) I'm assuming these are all post 'official sack' statistic...are there any pre-1982 players with at least 17.5 in back to back...

Re: Breakable and Unbreakable records
Vital was drafted in the seventh round by Washington in 1985. He didn't make the team, was cut by the Giants just before the start of the '86 season, was waived by Buffalo early in the 1987 season, was brought in for Washington's scab team, was picked up again by Buffalo after that, and was cut by ...

Re: Pro Football Hall of Fame question
The first classes were designated specifically for players. Lambeau and Halas appeared on the ballot for their playing careers, and apparently a number of people either didn't pay attention, or ignored the instructions, and voted them both in. Thanks Adam. Where did you get that the first class was...

Re: All-Madden teams?
Tatum was such a solid tackler and fierce hitter that Woody Hayes His interception totals were decent, but he only recovered three fumbles in his career (one of which was the record-breaker at Green Bay that shouldn't have counted). That's a pretty meager total for a free safety. According to Pro F...
