Carroll Hardy (Denver Broncos)

Many know Carroll Hardy as the only man to pinch hit for Ted Williams, but it seems like his work as Head of College Scouting with the Denver Broncos beginning in 1970 is overlooked? It seems like he found a lot of members of the Orange Crush defense et al. Is it accurate to say he found a lot of Br...

Les Richter question

This is not really a football question. There is an indication in Les Richter's biography that he was valedictorian of the Class of 1952 University of California at Berkeley. I think this means he graduated first in that class? He must have been very intelligent to do this as he had football, it's a...

John Anderson

I am curious what people think about the Hall of the Very Good candidacy for former Packer linebacker John Anderson. Although he did not earn any All-Pro honors, he was second team all Decade linebacker for the 1980's and played at a very high level for a very long time. Wondering what people think....

Re: Dallas Cowboys Running Backs

Agreed on Calvin Hill. He carried the ball in three decades, no small feat. I think a pretty good running back.

Dallas Cowboys Running Backs

Most would agree Emmitt Smith and Tony Dorsett are the two best running backs the Cowboys have ever had, but who is in the third slot? Don Perkins? Ezekiel Elliott? Calvin Hill? I think it's Don Perkins, but am curious what others think.

Thanks.

1960's Baltimore Colt defensive line

Curious on what people think about the Hall of Very Good candidacy for these three defensive linemen:

Fred Miller

Ordell Braase

Billy Ray Smith

Thank you.

World War II base teams

Hello: I realize this question is not exactly about professional football, but it's close enough. What was the idea behind the naval base teams such as Great Lakes and Fleet City during World War II? Were they just supposed to be teams made up of men from certain bases and Generals brought in pros /...

Sale of Denver Broncos

I read the Broncos were sold for 4.65 Billion and thought what exactly does the buyer get? I imagine the facility is included, the trademarks etc. An team does not have that many employees. The team charter plane? I guess the big one is the right to their share of the TV money.

Thanks.
