Random Inane Trivia
Re: Random Inane Trivia
This backup TE ended up starting 12 games for a division-winning team when the regular TE got hurt early in season. Incredibly, despite starting the majority of the year, this TE managed only 4 receptions for the season with no TDs. Name the TE.

Correct! I found the lack of production to be interesting.
Re: Random Inane Trivia
Garrett was a classic blocking tight end. He only caught six passes in a five-year career.
Interesting guy, too. He grew up in poverty and ended up with a distinguished post-football career in higher education after getting his doctorate.

This team lost exactly 3 regular season games, yet threw only 5 touchdown passes as a team on the year. One of them by a future hall of famer. Name the team and year.
Re: Random Inane Trivia
I thought I had this one, but the team I was thinking of threw only THREE TD passes, and none by Hall of Famers. They did lose exactly three games, though, which is why I thought of them.ChrisBabcock wrote:This team lost exactly 3 regular season games, yet threw only 5 touchdown passes as a team on the year.
